• In the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, HKR attorneys successfully achieved a defense verdict following a jury trial.  The jury found that the policyholder made a material misrepresentation during the presentation of the claim.
• In the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, HKR attorneys successfully achieved a defense verdict following a jury trial.  The jury found that the carrier did not breach the insurance policy in a claim involving a fire, where the policyholders sought over $1 million in damages.
• In Pennsylvania State Court, HKR's attorneys secured summary judgment on a breach of contract claim in a coverage dispute involving the discharge of home heating oil.
• In Pennsylvania State Court, HKR's attorneys successfully obtained summary judgment on a coverage dispute involving interpretation of a lost insurance policy.
• In Maryland Federal Court and on appeal in the Fourth Circuit, HKR's attorneys successfully defended litigation against a carrier by a mortgagee after the policyholder forged the mortgagees signature and absconded with the insurance proceeds.
