Theodore Sigwart

Ted’s practice at HKR is focused and driven – he represents insurers with a particular focus on property insurance coverage. In addition to litigating complex coverage and extracontractual disputes, Ted provides guidance to HKR’s insurer clients on claim investigation, policy interpretation, and compliance with claim handling regulations.

Before joining HKR, Ted spent a decade performing high-level SIU / Surveillance investigations. During his accomplished career, he received the Pyramid of Excellence Award and Values in Action Honoree Award four times while ranking in the top 10% of investigators nationwide.

Ted graduated from the Rutgers Law School, where he was awarded the Mary Philbrook Student Honoree Award, the Leonard Zack Award, and the Dean’s Pro Bono Publico Award with Distinction.

Ted resides in Plymouth Meeting and is formerly from Long Island, NY. He is passionate about volunteering, his dogs, and is a former scholarship athlete lacrosse goalie.
