Karl Usuka

Karl is an Associate Attorney at HKR. His practice focuses on complex, first-party insurance coverage disputes and extracontractual suits. Karl also provides guidance to HKR’s insurer clients on claim investigation, policy interpretation, and compliance with claim handling regulations.

Before joining HKR, Karl served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kelly A. Conlon in the Superior Court of New Jersey. He graduated from American University and earned his law degree from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. While in law school, Karl interned with a plaintiffs’ firm handling personal injury and medical malpractice matters.

Outside of the office, Karl enjoys music of all kinds, reading, and spending time outdoors.
