Sabrina Kaplan

As an Associate Attorney at HKR, Sabrina's practice is focused on the insurance industry. She regularly represents insurers in the defense of extracontractual cases and coverage disputes.

Before attending law school Sabrina obtained a degree in Physics from California State University, Long Beach. After graduation, Sabrina taught high school math while studying medical physics. Sabrina then chose a new career path and attended Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. At Temple Law, Sabrina served as a teacher’s aide for constitutional law, worked in a social security/disability clinic, and spent time working at a personal injury firm.

Sabrina began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia County. While a legal intern in the juvenile division, Sabrina successfully prosecuted trials against and committed by minors. After passing the bar, Sabrina joined the Municipal Court Unit, handling misdemeanor trials and felony preliminary hearings. Sabrina then moved on to the Diversion Unit where she specialized in drug and domestic violence cases.

Outside of the office, Sabrina hikes with her (very) high energy dog. She travels extensively and has been to 4 out of 6 Disneylands, spanning three continents. While at home she reads, enjoys movies, and spoils her younger siblings.
