Dan Petrilli

Dan focuses his practice on the insurance industry, along with complex commercial litigation. He regularly represents insurers in the defense of extracontractual cases and coverage disputes. His coverage experience includes property, fine art, business income, fidelity, subrogation recovery, fraud, and general liability defense. Dan prides himself on providing creative solutions, drawing upon his experience prosecuting and defending securities and consumer-fraud claims, catastrophic injury claims, and professional liability matters.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Dan litigates frequently there, and in various Pennsylvania state and federal courts. An active speaker, he regularly presents legal updates targeting risk management, fraud and underwriting issues facing insurance carriers. Dan has served as a Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas Judge Pro Tempore and participates in the firm’s pro bono representation of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU) and the Pennsylvania Auto Crime Investigators Association, Inc. (PACIA).

Dan resides in Bucks County with his wife and 2 sons. He enjoys a fine cigar on occasion, but don’t ask him about his taste in music because he doesn’t readily admit what a fan he is of heavy metal.
