As an Associate Attorney at HKR, Bernard focuses on first-party property insurance coverage and related litigation, defending insurers in coverage disputes and litigation, providing coverage advice/opinions, and handling extracontractual litigation. Before joining HKR, Bernard spent several years representing plaintiffs, where he garnered substantial experience handling injury and liability matters.
Bernard received an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Cornell University, and studied law at the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he served as Senior Production Editor of the Political and Civil Rights Law Review.
Outside of the office, Bernard enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoyed a former career as a studio recording engineer for Grammy Award winning recording artists.
