Angela Reed

Angela is an Associate Attorney at HKR, who focuses her practice on first-party property insurance disputes and extracontractual matters. She also assists clients with claim investigations, coverage analysis and regulatory advice.

Angela graduated from Duquesne University with a degree in Journalism and English. She also holds Masters’ degrees from the Departments of Education and Counseling & Educational Psychology from the University at Buffalo and Buffalo State College, respectively. Angela earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law where she served on the Executive Boards of Moot Court Honor Society and the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce. A national member of The Order of Barristers, she was a finalist in the 36^th annual Lionel O. Grossman Trial Competition and semi-finalist in the 41^st annual Mackenzie Hughes-Edmund Lewis Appellate Advocacy Competition. She also served as a Research Assistant for the Cold Case Justice Initiative, clerked with the Monroe County Conflict Defender’s Office, the Onieda County District Attorney’s Office, and the Children’s Law Center of Los Angeles, and was a student attorney with the Syracuse University Criminal Defense Clinic.

After law school, Angela worked as a general litigator in private practice and for the State of New York.

Outside of the office, Angela sings competitive barbershop with Sweet Adelines International, performs in local theater, and enjoys swimming and spending time with friends.
